CTET Exam Result 2020-21: CTET result 2020 will be announced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) about six weeks after the conduct of the exam. Candidates can check their CTET result on the official website of the exam by logging into their registered accounts with the roll number.

Candidates will be able to check their result by visiting the official portal ctet.nic.in. You have to enter the valid roll number to download CTET Scorecard and Eligibility Certificate from the DigiLocker Platform.

CTET qualifiers can get recruited in various schools run by the central government, schools under the control of UT’s, private schools, schools owned and managed by the state government/local bodies. CTET December 2019 session was conducted on December 8, 2019 in which 28,32,120 candidates had registered, out of which 24,05,145 had appeared and only 5,42,285 qualified the exam.

How to Check CTET Exam Result 2020?

  1. Visit the official website i.e. ctet.nic.in.
  2. Click on the news header stating “CTET 2020 Result”.
  3. Post clicking, you will be directed to a new page.
  4. Enter your Roll Number in the space provided.
  5. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Download a copy of the result sheet and save it for future reference.

CTET Qualifying Marks – CTET Exam Result 2020

  • The qualifying mark for CTET 2020 is 60% for General category and 55% for OBC/ SC/ ST categories.
  • Candidates who will score equal to or more than the qualifying marks will be considered qualified.
  • Candidates have to obtain 90 marks out of a total of 150 in their respective papers.
  • School Managements (Government, Local bodies, Government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to people belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled people, etc., in accordance with their reservation policy.
  • Qualifying CTET does not confer a right on anyone for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

CTET Exam Result 2020 – Marksheet

  • The mark sheet of CTET will include the candidate’s roll number, name, mother’s name, father’s name and category.
  • In CTET mark sheet, the subject name and marks obtained by the candidate will be mentioned.

Duplicate CTET Marksheet & Eligibility Certificate

In case, a candidate misplaces his/her CTET 2020 marksheet or eligibility certificate, he/she can request for a duplicate marksheet/certificate by sending an application form for the same along with a Demand Draft (DD) that is drawn in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education and is payable at Delhi. The DD needs to be drawn from any nationalised bank.

Earlier, candidates had to pay Rs 235 as charges for issue of duplicate CTET marksheet/eligibility certificate. However, CBSE has now revised the application fee as under:

CTET Cut-off 2020

  • CTET Cutoff is the minimum required score to be obtained by candidates to qualify the exam.
  • The cutoff is released after the declaration of CTET Result.
  • The qualifying marks for CTET is 60% and above.
