DRDO RAC Recruitment 2020: Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) – Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) invites online applications from graduate engineers and post graduates in Science including students who are appearing or have appeared in their final year examination through RAC website i.e. rac.gov.in for recruitment to the posts of Scientist ‘B’ in Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO). The total number of vacancies in DRDO RAC Recruitment 2020 is 185. Here we are giving the link of complete recruitment notification. Candidates are encouraged to read the relevant recruitment sciences carefully before applying for DRDO Scientist ‘B’ posts. Eligible Candidates can apply before the last date. The online application window will be activated till 10 July 2020 at rac.gov.in.

Due to availability of vacancies in Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Bengaluru, a total of 18 vacancies for the post of Scientist/Engineer ‘B’ have been added to some subjects/disciplines under Part‐I and Part‐II of Table 1 of Advt. No. 137, as per details given below:

Application Fee
  • General (UR), EWS and OBC male candidates are required to pay a nonrefundable non-transferable application fee of Rs 100/- (Rs. One Hundred only) payable online only.
  • There is no application fee for SC/ST/PwD and women candidates.
Pay Scale of DRDO RAC Recruitment 2020The Scale of Pay is Level-10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100/-) in specified disciplines and categories. Total emoluments (inclusive of HRA and all other allowances) at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 80,000/- p.m. at the present metro city rate.
Mode of ApplicationApplications via online mode only will be accepted.
Selection Process
  • The shortlisted candidates on the basis of the GATE scores and/or Descriptive Examination or percentage of marks in NET will be required to appear in the Personal Interview to be held at Delhi or any other place as decided by RAC/ DRDO.
  • The offer of appointment to the selected candidates will be restricted to the number of vacancies in order of merit. The appointment, however, will be subject to satisfying conditions like qualifying the Medical Examination.
